Serving
The serve is hit diagonally across the court and must land beyond the non-volley zone. The serving player continues to serve until their team faults.
Scoring
Points can only be scored by the serving team. The game is played to 11 points, and a team must win by 2 to complete the game.
Double-Bounce Rule
The ball must bounce once on each side of the net before volleys are allowed. The team receiving the serve must let the ball bounce, and the serving team must let the return of the serve bounce.
The Kitchen is a Non-Volley Zone.
Volleys (hitting the ball in the air without letting it bounce first) are not allowed in the kitchen. Once a ball has bounced, players can step into the kitchen to play it.
